Russian film week opens in Paris

The 6th annual Russian film week is opening in Paris today. Within the period of 7 days the lovers of Russian culture will have a chance to see 8 films that were made by the leading Russian film makers earlier this year. On that list is the film “Admiral” (“The Admiral”) about the fate, love and tragic death of the polar researcher and the prominent naval commander, one of the leaders of the White Movement during the Civil War years in Russia Alexander Kolchak. Famous film makers will meet with the film goers. All films will be shown in the Russian language version, with the French sub-titles.
